Third Annual SB Wine Country Half Marathon

This race is 70% female. Many of them from our area are vineyard or winery owners. The race covers 13.1 miles, starting at the Maverick Saloon in Santa Ynez and finishing in downtown Solvang.

The organizers of the Santa Barbara Wind Country Half, Desination Races, are donating $2 from the race registration fee to the Breast Cancer Fund. An online donation program allows donors to suport their favorite runners in the race.

Cachuma Lake Nature Walk and Junior Ranger Program

Cachuma Lake Nature Walk & Junior Ranger Program:  1-mile walk for all ages on the Oak Canyon Trail from 10 - 11:30 am every Saturday. (Free with $8 Park admission per vehicle.) Junior Park Rangers Program (ages 3-12) from 1 - 2 pm. Kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Learn about wildlife, caring for the environment, & earn a badge. ($2 per child.)
