Live Oak Music Festival
Sponsored by KCBX NPR Radio for the Central Coast, this 3 day 20th annual Festival is an experience rooted in music and community. The Festival features an aural collage of live music ranging from traditional, folk, bluegrass and gospel to blues, jazz, classical and world music. Nestled in the oak trees of the quiet Santa Ynez Valley at Live Oak Camp just off Highway 154 near Paradise Road, Live Oak comes alive as an outdoor music festival showcasing some of the finest musicians from around the world. Cachuma Lake Nature Walk
Cachuma Lake Nature Walk & Junior Ranger Program: 1-mile walk for all ages on the Oak Canyon Trail from 10 - 11:30 am every Saturday. (Free with $8 Park admission per vehicle.) Junior Park Rangers Program (ages 3-12) from 1 - 2 pm. Kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Learn about wildlife, caring for the environment, & earn a badge. ($2 per child.) Spaghetti Western Night
The Santa Ynez Valley Historical Museum sponsers a spaghetti dinner and dancing event, with dinner starting at 5:30 p.m. Music by "Last Call" and dancing from 7:30 p.m. on. Tickets available at the museum, 3596 Sagunto St. or by calling 688-7889. Tickets are $20 for adults, $16 or museum members and $8 for children ages 5 to 12. Children younger than 5 are admitted free.
