Cachuma Lake Nature Walk
Cachuma Lake Nature Walk & Junior Ranger Program: 1-mile walk for all ages on the Oak Canyon Trail from 10 - 11:30 am every Saturday. (Free with $8 Park admission per vehicle.) Junior Park Rangers Program (ages 3-12) from 1 - 2 pm. Kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Learn about wildlife, caring for the environment, & earn a badge. ($2 per child.) Cachuma Lake Wildlife Cruise
All cruises aboard the 45 passenger pontoon boat "Osprey" feature a 2-hour tour with naturalist describing area wildlife, wildflowers and resident birds. $15 adults; $7 children ages 4-12 (please no ages 4 or under) plus $8.000 per vehicle park admission. March-October cruises are generallyu conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m.; Saturday at 10:00a.m. & 3:00p.m. and Sunday at 10:00a.m. Reservations recommended.
