Los Olivos Day In The Country
Los Olivos Day In the Country. It's a good old fashioned celebration in this beautiful artists' community. There will be plentry of entertainment, food and crafts. Come join the fun 688-1222. Cachuma Lake Nature Walk
Cachuma Lake Nature Walk & Junior Ranger Program: 1-mile walk for all ages on the Oak Canyon Trail from 10 - 11:30 am every Saturday. (Free with $8 Park admission per vehicle.) Junior Park Rangers Program (ages 3-12) from 1 - 2 pm. Kids under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Learn about wildlife, caring for the environment, & earn a badge. ($2 per child.) "Creepy Creatures" Cachuma Lake
The Cachuma Lake Nature Centers sponsors the event from 11am to 12:30 pm. Featuring bats, owls, spiders and snakes. Linda Alvardo presents a collecion of live bats and Gabrielle Drozdowski will show Max, the Great Horned Owl. The event is free, but there is an $8 parking fee at the park.

Santa Ynez Valley Film Group
The Santa Ynez Film Group in collaboration with W.E. Watch, present one of the most important environmental films of the year. Flow: For Love of Water, a new film by Irena Salina, highlights the local implications of an emerging global catastrophe, the lack of water and the privatization of water. 6:45 pm at the Grande in Los Olivos. $5 donation.
