PCPA's Kiss Me, Kate
She’s a temperamental stage diva and he’s an egotistical leading man – and her ex-husband! Together they battle on, and, off the stage in Cole Porter, Bella and Samuel Spewack’s classic musical comedy. During a pre-Broadway tryout of a new musical based on Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew, Lili and Fred, the once married stars, attempt to be civil to each other for the production’s sake. But old passions and jealousies resurface – threatening the fledging show’s success. This Tony Award-winning show's immortal score includes the ravishing “So in Love,” the sizzling “Too Darn Hot” and the delectable “I’m Always True to You in My Fashion.”
