PCPA's The Real Thing
Art may reflect life in the theatre for a British playwright in Tom Stoppard’s acclaimed award-winning comedy drama. A heated affair between Henry, a playwright, and Annie, an actress, destroys two marriages in order for them to wed. But their marital bliss erodes when Henry’s suspicions are aroused by Annie’s close working relationship with a young actor. This achingly human work by the author of Shakespeare in Love and Arcadia skillfully examines the balance of love and trust within a marriage. A Tony Award-winning Best Play in its original production, The Real Thing won a Tony Award as Best Revival of a Play in 2000. (Adult language/Mature themes)

The play will be held at Solvang Theaterfest at 420 Second Street in Solvang.  For tickets, call 805/922-8313, visit the box office at Solvang Theaterfest, or visit www.pcpa.org
